Marketing, Communications & Public Relations

Spets Association Management has the knowledge and experience necessary to provide counsel and proven tactics to move your not-for-profit organization forward. We possess the competence, passion and entrepreneurial spirit to enable each of our association clients to realize their vision.

Nothing is more central to building a vibrant community of engaged and active members than strategically managed communications. Proper member communication builds relationships, empowers members, increases their engagement and improves their program participation.

Public Relations is about building a not-for-profit organization’s reputation by managing communications, liaising with the media, and generating publicity. It is about telling the stories that matter. We have already created the links and contacts that all our association clients benefit from. We start by getting a clear understanding of your audiences and then gear your organizations messages appropriately. We work closely with our clients to develop a communications plan and a marketing communication strategy.

Through Social Media Marketing we create content that attracts attention and encourages readers to share it across their social networks. The resulting electronic word of mouth refers to any statement consumers share via the Internet (e.g., web sites, social networks, instant messages, news feeds) about your events and member benefits. When the message spreads from user to user and presumably resonates because it appears to come from a trusted, third-party source, as opposed to the brand or company itself, this form of marketing results in earned media rather than paid media.

On your behalf, we

  • communicate with your members traditionally via phone or printed newsletters;
  • communicate with your members digitally via email or Social Media;
  • update your websites, tweet and post to blogs;
  • manage your Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn accounts;
  • respond to email, telephone and written inquiries from the media and the public.
